Daiwa Tanacom Power Assist Fishing Reels - Saltwater & Freshwater Electric Reel for Deep Sea, Trolling & Bottom Fishing

This is a great reel for bottom fishing in deep water. My first day using it, I caught a 60 lb halibut and the reel handled It with ease. The only negative is the it measures your line in meters with no setting to change it.Can definitely tell this is not the same as the original tanacom bull. This material feels a lot cheaper and when you plug it in you can definitely tell they're not the same quality internal parts. The drag is not the same so therefore the power when having four and five pound wait on it will be greatly reduced feels very cheaply made. Bring back the good stuff.Works perfect for bringing Pacific halibut up from 800 plus feet of water.Nicely built, wish I ordered the one with more spool capacity.Great reel, but small line capacity.
