Basically, this is a comedy about a group of middle aged 'English men' from a variety of social backgrounds, brought together by their love of cricket. Each episode follows their relationships and their approach to the 'game' in a typically humerous British way.I watched the original as a teenager back in the 90's and loved it, even though I'm not a huge fan of cricket. An amazing cast combine with first class comedy writing in the true British style. I now own all three episodes, each of which I watched with my girlfriend, who did not see the original episodes on t.v but enjoyed every single one.
