I ordered two of these hose reels. They hold hoses.UPDATE:The Perfect Hose Reel IF and only IF:1. You want a poorly designed reel that breaks easily.2. You are willing to drain the hose each time before reeling it in since if the hose is full of water the weight will bend the frame3. You want to waste over $100 on a product with NO customer support.4. You will never need parts since the Ames 800 number offers parts support but when you get to that option they only describe warranty service. If you need anything else you need to send an email to another address and they never respond.5. Your hose is less than 1/2" in diameter or less than 200' long since any hose larger than this will NOT fit on the reel.I give it 5 stars mainly for the company, not for the product itself. Here is the reason:I purchased an Ames Reel Easy cart more than 10 years ago from Home Depot. The water system assembly developed a leak 5 year ago. I went to the Ames's website and ordered the part, and the company sent it to me, free of charge. It developed a leak again this year. I ordered it again and the company sent me for free again.I was very much surprised by their free replacements because the cart was way out of its warranty period. I think doing so the company is losing money. To thank the company for its good service and to compensate for its loss of money, I purchased this one from Amazon and was prepared to give it a 5-star rating to encourage the company. Unfortunately, the cart came with a broken crank handle. I emailed to Ames and received response the next day. The company promised to send me a replacement handle, free of charge. Indeed, I received the new handle within a week.By curiosity, I took the water system assembly out to see whether the aluminum "Neverleak" is better than the previous plastic one. It looks solid and should last for a long time. The time to replace the water system is less than 10 minutes--only a screwdriver is needed.My conclusion: Yes, the hose cart needs some improvement. However, as long as the company stands behind it, I feel safe and will be happy to purchase it again. I still give it a 5-star rating and I really appreciate the company's good service. I hope the company will keep its good policy.Some people complained about their poor telephone service. I think it is true but understandable: all companies are busy these days and finding someone to answer the telephone takes time. When I send them emails, I get response quickly--more efficient than a telephone call.It took about three weeks for delivery. A big plus was that it arrived preassembled! No problems so far with it."Never" is a long time. So far so good...but we'll see!I'll give it 5 stars, because as of yet I hadn't had a major issue. There was a bit of water leakage, but I got it fixed with Teflon tape, so for now everything's working fine.Great quality looks really nice highly recommend this brand had one before lasted for 15 years . Happy got another the same ?Good sturdy long lasting hose reel.hose fittings seem well made. Tight connections.Perfect for my needs
