I bought this for my 2022 Tacoma SR base truck with the 2.7 4 banger. At first look, it appeared it wouldn’t work. There was a harness that looked like it went into the existing intake piping in the back. It’s not, just bolted to it for some reason. Install took about 15 minutes, and I’m using this in conjunction with a K&N drop in air filter. It has already exceeded my expectations. I know things like this don’t add horsepower per se, but the throttle feels much much better through the whole power band in each gear. If you own a 3rd gen Tacoma with the 2.7, you know this thing is a DOG. Again, I wasn’t really expecting much, but these two items transformed the drivability of this truck. Highly recommend.Just install unit. Testing the performance parameters now.
